Egyptomania

The influence of ancient Egypt can be felt in many areas in our modern world. Buildings could borrow elements from Egyptian temples and tombs. Games can be based on ancient stories or allow players to build ancient monuments. As part of our Egyptomania series, the Nile Scribes trace the influence of Egypt in two distinct areas: (1) Egyptianising elements in architecture around the world, and (2) the representation of Egypt in board- and video games.
